
Tech Savvy 3
Girls in grades 6 through 9 will become tech savvy in 2008 through fun workshops
in science, engineering, technology, and math.... and have a chance to win a new
computer. TS3 also features concurrent sessions for parents, leaders, and other
interested adults.
We are pleased to announce a new featured speaker for the event: Ms. Camille
Alleyne of NASA. With degrees in mechanical engineering and aerospace
engineering, Ms. Alleyne will tell of her wonderful career in space study and
her dedication to promoting science to girls around the world.
Date and location for TS3: Saturday, March 15, 2008, from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00
p.m., at the SUNY Buffalo North Campus. Cost per attendee is $5, which includes
all materials, book, tote bag, light breakfast, lunch, and snack; students will
receive the TS3 t-shirt.
