AAUW Buffalo Branch -- Promoting Education & Equity for Women & Girls
For more than a century, AAUW—the American Association of University Women—
has been the nation’s leading voice promoting education and equity for women and girls.

The Buffalo (NY) Branch of AAUW was founded in 1890, and is one of the largest branches in New York State with over 200 members. Our members represent women leaders from the arts, business, education, government, law, medicine, science, and technology.

AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.
AAUW is open to all graduates who hold an associate or higher degree from an accredited college or university.

Proceeds benefit the national AAUW Educational Foundation,
local scholarships, loans, & grants; and community outreach projects such as Tech Savvy.

Scholarship applications are available in the spring and fall.
